UNLOVEABLE

Tribute to The Smiths & Morrissey

Pennsylvania, New Jersey & Delaware

United by Craigslist and a shared love of The Smiths, Unloveable pays tribute to the Manchester miserablists and their mononymous singer, Morrissey.

Enjoy jangly guitars, droll lyrics and anthemic choruses as Unloveable performs the songs that made you cry and the songs that saved your life.

The story of Unloveable begins on Valentine’s Day 2017 when singer Jay met bassist Paul at Morrissey Karaoke at TLA in Philadelphia. Jay sang 'Last of the Famous International Playboys', Paul sang 'Speedway'. That evening they merely applauded each other's renditions and went their separate ways.

Six months later, Jay posted an ad seeking musicians who wanted to play The Smiths and a familiar looking bass player turned up. Guitarist Gus and drummer Sean completed the lineup and an ambitious first gig was booked - 90 minutes headlining the prestigious Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ.

Unloveable is based in Philadelphia, PA but is available to play throughout North East USA. Promoters can reach out via our contact page.
